How can we help?
Answers to the questions members ask most, and a direct line to the KOTS team. We reply by email, usually within a working day.
Common questions
How do renewal and cancelling work?
Your membership renews automatically until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep access until the end of the time you've paid for. If you joined on the web, go to Profile → Billing and subscription → Manage billing. If you joined through the App Store or Google Play, cancel in that store's subscription settings. Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription.
What is the First Week Guarantee?
Complete your introduction, photograph the clothes you want styled and wear your first week of outfits. If you do not feel the value, ask within 30 days and we refund the whole year. Your Style Passport and your studio photographs stay yours either way. A gift carries the same guarantee. The recipient completes their introduction, photographs the clothes they want styled and wears their first week of outfits. If it is not for them, ask within 30 days of the day they redeem the gift and we refund the whole gift to the person who paid for it. The giver or the recipient can claim. The recipient's Style Passport and studio photographs stay theirs either way. To claim, choose "First Week Guarantee claim" below, or email hello@killersonthestreet.com from the address on your account or the one the gift was bought with. A claim is a request to the KOTS team. We read it and reply by email; nothing is refunded automatically.
Is my stylist a real person?
Your stylists are virtual, so they're there at 7am on a Tuesday. The KOTS team stands behind every one of them, and every stylist is labelled as virtual. Your stylist plans outfits from the clothes you've photographed, around your plans and your weather. When it gets something wrong, tell it what's off, such as too formal, wrong shoes or not my colour, and it changes the answer. For your account, billing or a claim, message the KOTS team here and a person replies.
Do I have to photograph everything?
No. Photograph the clothes you wear or want styled, plus shoes and layers. Start with one outfit's worth and add the rest at your own pace. The fuller your wardrobe, the better the outfits and the more honest the view of what's missing.
I keep clothes in more than one place. Can KOTS handle that?
Yes. Keep a wardrobe for each place and KOTS styles from where you are. In the app, go to Profile → Wardrobes to add one.
Who can see my photos?
Your photos, of you and of your clothes, are private to your account and used to style you. They are never public, and nothing is shared unless you share it yourself.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Profile → Manage account. On the web, go to Profile → Delete account. Deleting permanently removes your profile, wardrobe, stylist conversations and private images. It does not cancel a subscription billed by the App Store or Google Play, so cancel that in the store first if you want billing to stop.
Should I use the app or the web?
Either. The KOTS app and the web app share one account, one wardrobe and one stylist, and you never pay twice. The app is best for photographing clothes and your morning outfit; the web suits longer sessions on a bigger screen.
