Cookie policy

KOTS, operated by Mindlace Industries Ltd, uses cookies and similar technologies to run the service and remember your choices. Anonymous product analytics starts without a tracking cookie. If you accept analytics, a first-party PostHog cookie keeps the same browser journey together across return visits. Advertising and affiliate cookies are separate.

• Strictly necessary — required to run KOTS and keep it secure. These include Supabase authentication cookies that keep you signed in. Always on; they do not need consent.
• Functional / preferences — remember choices you make, such as dismissing prompts, to improve your experience.
• Product analytics — PostHog helps us understand usage and performance. Before consent, web events are anonymous and cookieless. After you accept analytics, a first-party cookie and local storage retain a pseudonymous browser, device and session identifier for return journeys. If you sign in, KOTS may join those consented events across your devices using an internal profile identifier. We do not send your name, email, photos, messages or typed text.
• Optional session replay — only runs after you actively turn it on below. It records a masked representation of page structure and interactions; text, inputs, images, video, canvas, logs, network contents and sensitive account pages are excluded. Your choice is remembered in local storage.
• Affiliate & marketing — used to credit a retailer or affiliate network when you shop through a KOTS link, and to measure the performance of those links. Only set if you consent.

When you click a “shop” link and leave KOTS, the retailer or its affiliate network (for example AWIN, Rakuten Advertising, CJ, Impact or Sovrn/Skimlinks) may set its own cookies to attribute the referral. These are controlled by those third parties under their own cookie and privacy policies. See our Affiliate Disclosure.

Anonymous product analytics is on by default solely to improve KOTS. Durable analytics starts only after you accept the analytics category in the cookie banner. Session replay is separate and remains off until you turn it on. You can change either choice below at any time, free of charge. You can also reopen the cookie banner or delete site data in your browser settings.
